I was indirectly introduced to Shaia through Kristy with the Black Rose Tribal

Fusion belly dancing troupe in Kenosha and through Heather Poyner at the

Drum Hut in Kenosha.  I'm a percussionist associated with both parties and I'm

still a student of percussion.  Along with Willem who works with Heather's 'Rhythm In The Round' group, I also am very much interested in perfecting and learning

Middle Eastern percussion, both for my own pleasure and for belly dancers.
